Project Overview

The Lint Roller was developed for Clas Ohlson to replace an exisitng product made from virigin plastic.

The Lint Roller is a unique product, it is designed with refillable roles, so the product is for life however the market has lead the products to look disposable, we wanted to change that and create a product that the consumer felt product of to subtly shift the perception away from single use perspective.

We explored a very methodical development process for this product, by concepting options for each detail at different stage, this allowed us to land on a well thought through design solution.

The solution we created was machined from FSC Certified Beech wood, and though smart sourcing maintained the same price point as the previous virgin plastic product it was replacing.
